Larson, Charles J.

Charles J. Larson, Age 96 of Weyauwega, Wisconsin, died at Appleton Medical Center on February 24, 2011, following a brief illness. Charles was born on January 27, 1915, in New London, Wisconsin, the son of Charlie O. and Clara (Kettleson) Larson. On November 26, 1936, he married Jessie Cook. She preceded him in death in 2001. Charles worked at New London Family Medical Center in the maintenance department until his retirement in 1977. He is survived by: Amber and Al Sommerfeld (Hortonville), Kris Glenn (Frederick, CO), and son, Anthony (Barb) Larson (TX); grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Gabrielle, and Ethan; and step-grandchildren, Rosemary, Susie, Mike, and Sherry. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and infant daughter, Lois Rae. Per Charles’ request, no services will be held. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Township of Maine.
