Rhiner, Ulrich perform with Wisconsin Singers

The Wisconsin Singers is bringing its Broadway caliber entertainment to New London, a place where troupe members Nick Ulrich and Blake Rhiner call home. On Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m., the Wisconsin Singers will take the stage at the New London High School Auditorium. With a unique blend of big-band sound, stellar vocals, energetic dance, and laugh out loud humor, this performance showcases some of the best musical talent in the nation and promises an evening of non-stop fun.

“It’s rare that you can take 30 performers, put them in the same room together, and put on an awesome show, but Singers does this year in and year out,” says Ulrich. “If you’ve seen the Wisconsin Singers before, this show is better than ever. If you haven’t, then you’ll love it!”

The show will feature performances from New London High School’s “Vision” Show Choir and Jazz Band. The Singers has a long history of outreach and service and are pleased to co-sponsor this concert with the music department to help fund music education in New London.

For 43 years the Wisconsin Singers has toured the country as UW’s Official Ambassadors of Goodwill. Their newest show, We’ll Take You There!, transports audiences in a musical journey across the United States from the beaches of LA to the streets of New York. Singer / dancer Blake Rhiner says, “There’s nothing like performing in front of a large audience. No matter what kind of show I’ve just had, hearing the cheers when we finish our last song makes me want to get up the next morning and do it all over again.”

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students / seniors at the New London High School front office, by calling 608-886-6801, or by visiting www.WisconsinSingers.com/NewLondon.
