Rohde, Gregory D.

Gregory D. Rohde, age 61, of Clintonville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Greg was born on March 31, 1949, in Iola son of the late Herman and Alice (Sether) Rohde. He graduated from Little Wolf High School, Manawa in 1967. Greg worked at Stoney Ridge Cheese Factory with his dad as a milk hauler. On May 27, 1972, he was united in marriage to Audrey Much at St. Paul Lutheran Church in DuPont. He worked at AC Nielson, FWD and has been working with NISC (formally Computer System’s) since 1980. He enjoyed sports in his younger years especially playing baseball with the Symco Bombers. Other interests Greg enjoyed were dart ball, playing pool, working on his yard and coaching little league. He was a member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. He is survived by his wife Audrey; his sons, Brian Rohde, Embarrass and Travis (Michelle) Rohde, Clintonville and their son, Michael Rohde. A brother, Dennis Rohde, Manawa; a sister, Peggy (Jeff) Moe, Waupaca; sisters in-law, Helen (John) Griffith, Severna Roe; brothers in-law, Ray (Judy) Much; Bill (Judy) Much, Vern Much, and Gene Much. Greg is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. His parents, a brother, William and his father and mother in-law, Fred and Alma Much and a sister in-law, Phyllis Much preceded him in death. The funeral service for Greg was held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 11:00AM at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville (120 N. Main St.) with Pastor Brian Crocker officiating. Burial will be in Big Falls Cemetery in the spring. Friends called at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Friday, March 4, 2011, from 4-8 PM and also at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
