Zuge, Lois J.

Lois J. Zuge, age 76, New London, died on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Lois was born on January 13, 1935, in Little River (Town of Weyauwega), daughter of the late John and Violet (Leverentz) Zuge. She formerly worked at Van Epps Law Office in Weyauwega, Hutchison Insurance, Weyauwega and Miles Kimball in Oshkosh. Lois loved to crochet and do embroidery. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Lois is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Berg, New London and Dolores (Marvin) Roberts, Oshkosh; two sisters in-law, Violet Zuge, New London and Elaine Zuge, Manawa; and a brother in-law, Louis Nehring, Poy Sippi. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her parents, two brothers, Clifford and John Zuge, and a sister, Doreen Nehring preceded her in death. Funeral services for Lois was held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Burial was in the Lind Center Cemetery, Town of Lind. Visitation was held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
