Three local Waupaca High School Athletes prove powerful force as members of Team Wisconsin. Left Brad Navin, Senior, Member of U-18 Team, Natasha Smith, Freshman, U-14 Girls Division and Jared Erickson, Freshman, U-14 Boys Division. All three were members of State Tier I Championship Teams this past weekend in Madison. They now advance to Fond Du Lac and play in Central District Playoff for the opportunity to win a birth into the USA Hockey National Tournament. All Three are Alumni of Waupaca Area Youth Hockey Program that has prided itself with a long tradition of producing the best players in the State of Wisconsin. Team Wisconsin is a collection of the best high school hockey players that call Wisconsin their home. The team is referred to as a “before and after” team because all games and practices are only conducted before and after the WIAA high school season.
