Johnson, Eleanor

Eleanor Virginia Johnson, age 85, of Waupaca, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on March 11, 1926 in Tupelo, Arkansas, daughter of the late Charley and Ada (Dunavin) Powell. On November 13, 1965 she was united in marriage to Richard Morales in Waukegan, Illinois. Eleanor was a Nurses Aid in Milwaukee for many years. Eleanor and Richard moved to Phoenix, Arizona and were there for 15 years until they moved to Waupaca in 2001 to be with family. She is survived by her husband Richard; children: Billie (Dianne) Johnson, Brenda (Bubba) Jefferes, Jerry (Bernice) Johnson, Gary (Nancy) Johnson, Lynne (Rich) Armbruster, Patricia (Dennis) Hintz, Eric (Connie) Johnson; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private family services were held.
