Melter, William G.

William G. Melter, age 71 , of Fayetteville, TN, formerly of Pine Lake (Waupaca), began his heavenly adventure on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at his home in Tennessee. Bill was born April 15, 1939, in Milwaukee. He married Susan Farrar in Milwaukee on October 8, 1966. He was the owner/manager of Hidden Campsite on Pine Lake, between Waupaca and Wild Rose for 29 years, living in the central Wisconsin area until moving to Tennessee in 2007. Bill was also an Electronics Engineer, who was an independent contractor for Allen Bradley, Rexnord, and M.C.I in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Mediterranean from 1958 to 1962. Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Melter; children: Jennifer Rebecca (Scott) Kosminskas, James E. Melter, Andrew R. Melter, and Eric W. Melter; grandchildren: BreAnna Melter, Micah Melter, Christian Melter, Desiree Springborn, and Dylan Brewer. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Jagielski; a daughter-in-law, Jacci Melter, and many other friends and relatives.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 16th. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville, TN. Memorial Services and inturnment will be held in the Waupaca area at a later date. In place of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Bill’s memory.
The Ruminski Funeral Home of Redgranite is assisting the family with local arrangements.
