Eva Knapp, age 97, New London, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Eva was born on December 21, 1913, in Maple Creek Township (Outagamie County), daughter of the late August and Emma Rohloff. She was a lifelong resident of the Maple Creek area. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Eva is survived by two sons, Vernon (Betty) Knapp, and Keith (Diane) Knapp, both of New London. Seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert W. Knapp (1993); a sister, Adeline; brother, Harleigh; a son, Duane; a daughter in-law, Marina Knapp and two stillborn daughters. Funeral services for Eva were held on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Shiocton, the Rev. Bradley Ragner officiated. Burial was in the New Maple Creek Cemetery. Visitation was at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
