Howard F. Stroik age 81 of Amherst, died on Saturday May 7, 2011. Howard was born on September 9, 1929, the son of Frank and Agnes (Loftis) Stroik.
Howard is survived by two sons Michael (Jacquelyn) Stroik of Slinger, WI, Patrick (Krisann Dailey) Stroik of Marion, WI; one daughter Juliann (Mike) Jape of Waupaca, WI; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers Gary Stroik, Ken Stroik, and Tom (Kathy) Stroik; two sisters Rita Plowman, and Edith (Chuck) Quimby, one sister-in-law Betty Glisch, many other nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Howard was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Agnes Stroik, his wife Marion Stroik; one son George Stroik; two brothers Greg and Richard Stroik; and three sisters Audrey Lohman, Alice Lepinski, and Dorothy Kasper. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. Father Robert Pedretti will officiate, with burial to follow in the St. James Catholic Cemetery. A visitation was held on Thursday at the church from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
