Anderson, Jeannette

Jeannette E. Anderson, age 92, Waupaca, also a former Clintonville resident, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Waupaca Elder Care, Waupaca, WI. The former Jeannette Elaine Wolberg was born June 22, 1918 at Iola, WI., and was the daughter of the late Ole and Nettie (Strand) Wolberg. Jeannette was raised in the Iola area, graduating from high school, and united in marriage to Andrew J. Anderson at Northland Lutheran Church, Iola, WI. Andy and Jeannette farmed in the Town of Helvetia, Waupaca County, and had been residents of Clintonville for the past 25 years. Jeannette was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Big Falls, and was past-president of St. Peter ALCW, and also held other church offices, and was a member of St. Peter Quilting Group. She was a member of the Clintonville Women’s Club, Waupaca County Homemakers, and a Waupaca County 4-H General Leader. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita (Marshall) Bergacker, Baker City, OR., a son, Thomas (Sharie) Anderson, Ogdensburg, WI., a son, Charles (Patti) Anderson, Remus, MI., and a daughter, Helen (Cal) Geiger, Burnett, WI. There are 7 grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Sarah, Jim, Kotti, Michelle and Adam. Also four great-grandchildren, Austin, Ross, Jack, and Logan. One brother, Harold (Alice) Wolberg, Iola, and one sister, Evelyn Hansen, Birnamwood, WI. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Andy, a grandson, Shane D. Anderson, a sister, Margaret Sowers, and a sister, Helen Boe. Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Big Falls. Rev Janice M. Kuder will officiate. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. The family will miss, Jeannette’s unending love, giving spirit, and the happy conversation, with coffee and cookies, around the dining room table.

Friends were invited to the BeiL-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, to share coffee, cookies, and conversation, Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M.
