Sullivan, Rosaleen L.

Rosaleen L. Sullivan, age 89, peacefully passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, May 20, 2011. Rose was born on September 9, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Danks) Klatt. On February 15, 1941, she was united in marriage to Jack Sullivan. She formerly worked at Hillshire Farms (SaraLee), and Ben Franklin Store. She enjoyed volunteering at New London Family Medical Center, St. Joseph Residence, and at the polls during elections. Rose enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, knitter, crafter, fisherwoman and bowler. Rose was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. She recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas with her daughters, other family members and friend Vi. Rose is survived by two daughters: Pat Rebman, Bear Creek; Kay (Bob) Stolt, Wauwatosa; two sons: Richard (Cheryl) Sullivan, New London; Mark (Marilyn) Sullivan, New London. Seven grandchildren: Mike, Scott, Brad, and Travis Sullivan; Kevin, Jeff Rebman and Joann Johnson. She is further survived by 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (2008), a son, Paul, brothers and sisters, Charles, Victor, Dave, Katherine, Susan Klatt and Beatrice McDonnel, Margaret Crain, and a son in-law, Gerald Rebman. Funeral Mass for Rose, was held on Tuesday May 24, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London , the Fr. David Lewis officiated. Burial was held in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday, May 23, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
