Peskie, Jean M.

Jean M. Peskie, age 56 of Waupaca died on Sunday June 19, 2011. Jean was born on June 30, 1954, the daughter of Donald T. and Dorothy (Wanty) Peskie. Jean was a passionate and outstanding softball player for many years. She loved music and played the drums and “Spoons” enthusiastically for years. She could also belt out some beautiful songs in Karaoke.

Jean is survived by her mother Dorothy Peskie of Almond WI; one daughter Jennie (Dan) Quinn of New Franklin, WI; one grandson Kendan Quinn of New Franklin, WI; four brothers James (Judy) Peskie of Waupaca, WI, Lorrie (Jeanne) Peskie of Waupaca, WI, Tim (Thelma) Peskie of Uvalade, TX, and John Peskie of Almond, WI; one sister Deb (Jim) Toya of Corrales, New Mexico, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her father Donald T. Peskie, one brother Don J. Peskie, and one niece Tanya Peskie. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe at 11 A.M. on Friday June 24, 2011. Father Dan Farley will officiate, with burial to follow in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. The Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
