Firkus Lumber & Hardware is now open in downtown Iola.
Travis and Mike Firkus had been looking at expanding their Rosholt store and thought Iola was an ideal location.
“It is a very progressive town,” stated Travis Firkus, manager of the Iola store. “We have customers from the area.”
Firkus Lumber & Hardware offers hardware, plumbing and electrical supplies, and a complete lumberyard.
Building supplies available include materials for roofing, siding, decking, along with doors, windows and agricultural steel.
Hardware offered include nuts and bolts, fasteners and screws, tools, key making, plus painting supplies, pet food and some automotive supplies.
What is available at the store will depend on what customers need.
“I plan to stock according to customer demand,” Firkus said.
Firkus Lumber & Hardware, located at 150 Depot St., is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. For more information, call 715-445-4400.
