Schneiderwent, Arnold L.

Arnold L. Schneiderwent, age 90, of Manawa, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born on January 13, 1921 in Manawa, son of the late Louis and Emma (Miller) Schneiderwent. On September 18, 1942 he married Lucille Theisen in Manawa. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2006. Arnold loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children: Darlene (Brad) Heller, Appleton; Pat (Bill) Gray, Manawa; Arnold Jr. “Butch” Schneiderwent and special friend Deb, Colorado; Tom (Darlene) Schneiderwent, New London; Sharon (Ron) Olmsted, Manawa; Tim (Mary) Schneiderwent, Manawa; Janet (Randy) Wege, New London; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Gertrude Pope, Manawa; Loretta Postel, Appleton; Alice (Arlyn) Yohr, Appleton; sister-in-law: Margie Schneiderwent, Manawa. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His parents, wife Lucille, two sons: Richard and Robert, brother Melvin, 3 great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Betty preceded him in death. A memorial service for Arnold was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa, the Rev. Matt Ruesch officiated. Burial will be at Little Wolf Cemetery in Manawa. Friends called at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
