Heartland Hospice is looking for new volunteers in the Clintonville and New London area.
Volunteers provide our patients with a most valuable gift – a comforting presence. We are looking for committed people to work closely with the hospice team to meet this goal by providing additional socialization and companionship to patients. Volunteers receive training in all aspects of Heartland’s Volunteer Program – Visitation, Bereavement and Vigil to help patients on their final transition from this life to the next. Heartland is looking for individuals to be Friendly Visitor Volunteers, Vigil Volunteers, Pet Therapy Volunteers and individuals who would like to share their musical talents with our hospice patients.
