Governor deserves credit for growing the economy

Gov. Scott Walker has managed to increase jobs in Wisconsin in spite of the anti-business climate created by the administration in Washington, D.C. With the new taxes and higher health-care costs coming from Obama Care, employers are afraid to hire. With President Barack Obama’s National Labor Relations Board telling Boeing they can’t open factories in the South, there is more reason to build airplanes in China.

If President Obama wanted to bring jobs to the U.S.A., he could stop all these new job-killing rules coming out of his administration. His EPA is making 100 new rules. Thirty of these will cost us $100 million each.

The Dodd-Frank Act is coming out with another 259 regulations. Chris Dodd and Barney Frank bear much responsibility for the housing market crash. When warned about the housing bubble, Barney Frank said he wanted to “roll the dice a little bit more with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.” And this is the brain trust the Democrats chose to write the new financial regulations.

The Obama administration is the most anti-business White House in memory, and Scott Walker is growing Wisconsin’s economy in spite of it. He deserves credit for it.
