W-F High School to present plays

Weyauwega-Fremont High School will present An Evening of One Act Plays at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in the high school auditorium.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, and the doors will open 30 minutes before curtain time.

The evening will include “To Burn a Witch,” which is the story of two teens wrongfully accused of witchcraft in Salem, Mass. One of the girls must decide whether to die or to turn on her best friend to save herself.

“Shock of his Life” is a classic farce in which a teenage boy takes down phone messages that convince his father that he only has hours to live.

Finally, scenes from “The Complete Works of Shakespeare, Abridged” promise laughs as the members of “Punchline!” take the works of the Bard and twist them into skits, such as Juliet played by a boy, Titus Andronicus as Paula Dean and Othello done as a rap.
