Foster, Clarence (Bill)

Clarence (Bill) Foster, age 83 passed away on November 29, 2011. On November 1, 1958 he married Genice Aasen, daughter of Elvin and Sylvia (Erickson) Aasen, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Iola, WI. Genice and Bill made their home in Bloomington, MN for 52 years recently moving to Apple Valley, MN. A memorial Service was held at Atonement Lutheran Church, Bloomington, MN on Monday, December 5, 2011. Bill is survived by his wife Genice, daughters, Julie McCarthy and Joy (Tim) O’Reilly, grandchildren, Amanda and Robert McCarthy; Sean and Kaitlyn O’Reilly and a great-grandson, William McCarthy. He is further survived by a sister-in-law Mary Foster, niece, nephew, cousins and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his son Stuart J. Foster and brother, John W. Foster. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
