EJ (Eddie) Christensen, age 84, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Appleton Medical Center. Eddie was born in the Town of Waupaca on May 31, 1927, the son of the late Carl and Leona (Erdman) Christensen. On September 26, 1955, Eddie married Mary Lee Penney in Nashville, Iowa and she preceded him in death on July 3, 1992. He served in the US Navy during WW II and was the Manager at Holiday Station in Waupaca for many years. He had lived on the Chain O’ Lakes since 1949 and was a member of the Waupaca Masonic Lodge F & AM #123. He is survived by many friends. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Lee, three uncles and two aunts. A Memorial Masonic Service will be on Saturday, January 21 at 2:30 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with the Waupaca Masonic Lodge F & AM #123, officiating. Eddie and Mary Lee will be laid to rest together at Lakeside Memorial Park. Friends may call on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.
