Anderson, Everett “Red”

Everett “Red” Anderson, age 83, of Waupaca, went home to his Father in heaven on Wednesday evening, January 11, 2012. He was surrounded by his family at the Comfort House in McAllen, Texas. Everett was born May 25, 1928, in Waupaca, the son of Adolph and Pearl (Broas) Anderson. He married Gloria Faskell and the couple had seven children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Everett farmed all of his life, served in the Navy, and was active in the community. He was all about being a great provider and enjoyed helping who he could in the community. He was involved with the Knights of Columbus and was the Waupaca School Board president for several years. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children: Geralyn Anderson (special friend Lonny Grosskreutz), Mark (Dawn) Anderson, Jane Anderson (special friend Corey Joch), and Rhonda (Dave) Anderson Steinke; grandchildren: Stephanie (Jason) Thoe, Joe Anderson, Amy Anderson, Tiffany Anderson and Chase Glodowski; great-grand-children: Kaden Thoe, Brooklyn Thoe and Jaxon Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Robert and Joe; a daughter, Marybeth Anderson; and a brother, Lavern Anderson. The Memorial Mass was held at 11 AM Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, with Father Brian Belongia officiating. Visitation was from 10 AM until the time of mass.
