Dery, Joseph William

Joseph William “Joe” Dery, age 92, of Weyauwega, formerly of Green Bay, passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 22, 2012. He was born on April 28, 1919 in Kaukauna, son of the late William and Cora (Cotter) Dery. He married the former Joyce Buckley and she preceded him in death in 2007. Joe proudly served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Army. He was heavily active in politics. Joe delivered donated food twice a week for some time to the Salvation Army in Green Bay. He owned and operated Dery Exteriors in Green Bay for 45 years. He is survived by his children: Deborah (Ron) Kagan, Robin (Wayne) Ball, Roger Dery, Heather (Del) Gallegos, Joel Dery; grandchildren: Brittany Ball, Georgia Ball, Michael Joeds, Joseph M. Dery, Parker Gallegos, Kelly Gallegos, Mickey Gallegos, Candace Gallegos, Jennie (Ted) Stefaniak, Autumn Dery, Elizabeth Wythe, G. Bradford Dery; daughters-in-law, Shelli Dery and Norma Wooten; great grandchildren, Hailey Stefaniak and Liam T. Stefaniak; sister-in-law, Nancy Patterson. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Greg and 4 sisters.
