The Pamida Foundation and Tom Lederer, Pamida – Clintonville store manager, know that Junior Achievement gives students the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
That is why the foundation awarded Junior Achievement with a grant to fund eight “JA It’s My Business” programs at the Clintonville Middle School.
Clintonville Middle School teacher Veronica Campbell requested the program for her seventh and eighth grade students. Ms. Campbell and her classroom volunteers utilized Junior Achievement program to deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
JA It’s My Business! encompasses entrepreneurship curriculum. The program emphasizes entrepreneurship while providing a strong focus on social studies, reading, and writing skills.
Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.
