Farmers State Bank promotes three

Farmers State Bank of Waupaca recently promoted three employees.

Keith Snyder was promoted to vice president. He started at the bank on Dec. 3, 2001 and was promoted to assistant vice president in January 2005. Snyder handles mortgage, construction, vehicle and home equity loans.

A 1988 graduate of Waupaca High School, Snyder graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with a degree in criminal justice. After working a couple years in the field, he moved to La Crosse where he worked for Aon Corp., an insurance company.

In June 1998 he moved back to Waupaca. Snyder received his state loan origination license and worked as a mortgage broker in Appleton before joining Farmers State Bank in 2001.

Jay Krcmar was promoted to vice president/cashier. He started with the bank on Aug. 7, 1996, and was promoted to marketing officer in January 1999, assistant vice president of marketing and technology in January 2005, and assistant vice president/cashier in 2010.

Krcmar’s job responsibilities include overseeing the operations of the bookkeeping department and the tellers, handling the financials for the bank, and being in charge of human resources, marketing and technology.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Susan McNamara from FSB Investment Services, located at Farmers State Bank, was promoted to investment officer on Jan. 25. She started at the bank on May 15, 2006 as an investment representative.

McNamara offers retirement planning, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, life insurance and estate plannings.

A 1987 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in business, McNamara has worked in the financial planning industry since 1993, first at William Blair & Company until 2003. In April 2003, Susan worked for Retirement Planners International until she moved to Iola in November 2005.
