Dr. Jack Rhodes will discuss the passenger train in classic Hollywood films at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 19, in the Waupaca Area Public Library.
A retired college administrator and movie scholar, Rhodes will present scenes from mysteries, westerns, musicals and comedies to highlight the American romance of the rails.
Hosted by Winchester Academy, the program is free, open to the public and preceded by refreshments and conversation at 6 p.m.
