Stephen Michael Grimm, age 61, of Krakow, passed away at the University Hospital in Madison after a lengthy illness. Steve was born on November 7th, 1950 in New London to the late Walter and Anita Grimm. After his parents’ death in 1962 he moved to Reedsburg to live with his aunt and uncle, Bill and Doris Grimm. He graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1969, and moved back to Marion. He was employed at FWD-Seagrave in Clintonville for many years. Steve was an avid softball player. He loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and researching his family history.
Steve is survived by 5 children: Shelly of Bonduel, Gatlin and Colten, both of Suring, and Stephen Jr. and Katie, both at home. He is further survived by his girlfriend Cherie and her three children, Josh, Sarah, and Stephanie, all at home; his brother Jim (Nancy) Grimm of Clintonville, his sister Susan (Fred) Schwan of Marion, and 8 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Anita Grimm, and an infant daughter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 31st, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pella. The visitation will be from 9:30am-11:00am, with the funeral service to follow.
