Minton, Denice A.

Denice A. Minton, Waupaca, age 51, died on Saturday, June 16, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was born March 4, 1961 in Appleton, WI, daughter of William and Celine (Wittmann) Romenesko. On August 5, 1993, Denice married Kevin Minton at Hartmans Creek State Park in Waupaca. The couple lived in Waupaca their entire married lives. Denice was a medical transit driver for Koeppen’s Medical Transports LTD and loved being caretaker to the elderly. She enjoyed making them laugh. Denice was an avid Packer fan and loved fishing, camping, and going to outdoor concerts. She was extremely proud of her family. Denice is up in heaven with her poodle, Sasha. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Kevin, Waupaca; her son, Josh Minks, Waupaca; her parents, two brothers: Keith “Kos” Romenesko, Darboy and his children, Jude, Nicole, Celina, Keith and Colin; Jay Romenesko, Appleton; one sister, Sheila (Dick) De Valk and their children, Travis (Megan) – her Godson, Anna (Troy) Fredrickson, Maggie (Kevin) McGinty, and Luke (Lisa); her Godmother, Betty Van Thiel, and a special cousin and friend, Karla. Mass of Christian Burial for Denice was at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Holy Spirit Parish at Holy Angels Church, W2796 Highway KK, Darboy with Fr. Dave Beaudry officiating. Friends called directly at church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Burial is in the parish cemetery.
