All Cash for Clunkers did was wreck used cars, drive up used car prices and cause people who were already in the market for a new car to buy a little early.
New car sales fell right back off as soon as the Cash for Clunkers money ran out.
Now, 60 percent of Americans say this country is headed in the wrong direction and the economy is worse.
