Ross, Jay Michael

Jay Michael Ross, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2012. He was the beloved son of Lori Gunderson. Jay’s 24 years on Earth were far too short, but during that time he touched many lives. He was a graduate of Waupaca High School and attended Lakeland College. Jay excelled and competed throughout his years in many sports clubs, hockey, baseball, and football. He also enjoyed fishing and the peace it brought him. He had just begun starting a new chapter in his life in Stevens Point with his girlfriend, Kayla. Those who got to know Jay witnessed his sharp sense of humor. Jay is survived by his mother, Lori Gunderson; his “Sis”, Kara (R.J.) Gross; his brothers, Tom Gunderson, Tony, Bill, and Bob Ross; his niece and nephews, Brittany and Addison Gross and Mason Ross; his special friend, Kayla; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Patricia Ross. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 4p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Jay’s name.
