The next meeting of the Waupace Duplicate Bridge Club will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the Holly History and Genealogy Center, 321 S. Main St.
All area bridge players are encouraged to attend.
An unusually large crowd turned out for the Quarterly Championship Game on Sept. 14. Winning first place overall was the duo of Eric McVickar, Appleton, and Nancy Ogreenc, Wautoma, with the team of Leigh and Jack Allgaier, Stevens Point, a close second. In third place were Jeanne Kopp, Wild Rose, and her partner Carol Konrad, Neshkoro.
The next three teams all received Honorable Mention Awards: Janet and Terry Liska, Wautoma; Mary and Dan Schommer, Waupaca; and Bart Blum, Waupaca, with his partner, Gene Trieglaff, Wild Rose.
