Dance planned for the disabled

The Fall Festivity Dance for people in the Waupaca area who have disabilities will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Best Western Plus Grand Seasons Hotel, 110 Grand Seasons Drive.

Music will be provided by “Just the Two of Us.”

The cost of the dance is $5. Snacks and beverages will also be provided.

People of all ages and disabilities are invited, and parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

Participants will be responsible for their transportation to and from the dance.

Reservations and money are due by Oct. 29.

Cerebral Palsy of Mideast WI and Arc of Winnebago County, in collaboration with the Performing Arts for Youth, Inc. in Neenah, are sponsoring the dance.

John Felker, president of the Performing Arts for Youth Inc. has donated funds for dances throughout the years for Cerebral Palsy of Mideast WI.

Cerebral Palsy & Arc received a grant of $3,000 for this year’s Fall Festivity Dance.

Felker is a past president of the original United Cerebral Palsy of Winnebagoland and also volunteered for the Friendship Circle of Oshkosh and the Hopeful Future Club of Neenah.
