Bruette, Adolph W.

Adolph W. Bruette, age 84, New London, went to his heavenly home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Adolph was born on January 15, 1928, in New London, son of Roy and Lena (Pelky) Bruette. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Everts on May 31, 1951, in Lebanon. Adolph served his country in the Navy on the USS Ashland from 1946-1955, during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a mechanic for over 25 years at area Chevy dealerships. He loved farming and had a passion for fishing, especially at Perch Lake. He is survived by his children: Tim (Deborah) Bruette, New London; Constance (John) Neely, New London; Greg (special friend Chris) Bruette, New London; Thomas Bruette, California; Michael (Lynnette) Bruette, New London; Anne (Kevin) Mataczynski, Wausau; and Tina (Earl) Ruckdashel, New London; grandchildren: Jenny (Paul) Groskreutz; Kelly (John) Fortney; Carrie Bruette; Jackie (Alex) Graham; Ben (Amanda) Bruette; Matt Bruette; Katie (Nathan) Guyette; Andrew (Stefanie) Neely; Krystal (Tom) Van; Glenn Bruette; Brandon (Ashley) Bruette; Jesse Bruette; Darren (special friend Amber), Jordan, Mackenzie and Kayden Bruette; James, Jared, Maggie and Callie Mataczynski; Abbie, Maddie, Garrett and Tess Ruckdashel; great-grandchildren: Ethan and Carly Groskreutz; Harlea and Dillon Fortney; Cooper Graham; Noah, Sophia and Baby Bruette; Blake and Brice Guyette; Evan, Ava and William Neely; Ellee Van; Coryn, Brook and Ashleigh Bruette; Aubrey Bruette; Aiden and Aleah Bruette. He is further survived by brothers, Roy (Gloria) Bruette, Appleton and Louie Bruette (special friend Mary), Seymour; special friend, Alice Rossey, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marjorie, a son Gary, a daughter Catherine, grandson Tyler, brothers, Theodore and Merlin; sisters, Angie (Sam) Gruentzel and Annabell (Louis) Wright. Funeral Services for Adolph will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Lebanon with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. and also at the church Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Military Graveside Rites will be held. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice and the staff at St. Joseph Residence.
