Waupaca woman charged with battery

Tabitha M. Taylor, 22, Waupaca, was charged with felony intimidation of a victim, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct.

Waupaca police arrested Taylor around 3 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, after she was accused of attacking another woman.

The woman told Officer Nathan Winistorfer that she had been sleeping when Taylor allegedly jumped into her bed and began yelling that she had messed up Taylor’s life.

Taylor allegedly slapped and punched the woman in the face, bit her on the face and arm, threatened to kill her, then passed out.

When questioned by police, Taylor denied attacking the woman.

According to the criminal complaint, Taylor refused to walk from the squad car to the jail and had to be carried into custody.
