Bengals win Super Flag Bowl

The American Division Bengals team won the 2012 Super Flag Bowl Championship sponsored by the Clintonville Park and Recreation Department.

The youth flag football championship competition was held Tuesday, Oct. 30, with the Bengals winning 30-20 over the National Division’s Redskins.

Lucas Ferg scored three touchdowns and Tyler Ferg scored two touchdowns for the Bengals.

Scoring touchdowns for the Redskins were Hayden Wojnowiak, Kaleb Rath and Braiden Behnke. Wojnowiak also had a two-point conversion.

Members of the undefeated Bengals included Tyler Ferg, Alex Beilfuss, Kolton Barkow, Caleb Christopherson, Lucas Ferg and Jonathan Moder.

Final standings for the 2012 season were: American Division – Bengals 8-0, Colts 4-3, Patriots 1-5; National Division – Bears 5-2, Redskins 4-4, Packers 0-6.
