Iola to hold Christmas Parade
The 14th annual Christmas Parade in the village of Iola is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
The parade begins at the Iola-Scandinavia High School and passes the Iola Living Assistance and the shops on Main Street, ending at the corner of North and Main.
A visit with Santa and entertainment by a storyteller for all children will follow the parade at the village library.
Refreshments will be served by the Iola Lioness Club.
Any person or organization that wants to sponsor a float or walk in this year’s parade may contact Michelle Nelson at 715-467-3317.
The Iola Lioness Club sponsors the parade, with the support of the Iola Village Library, the Iola Lions Club and the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce.
