The Wolves boys varsity basketball team will be led by eight seniors as they look to improve on last year’s 1-23 conference record and 2-21 overall record.
Wesley Krauss, Logan Hass, Alex Thompson, Aaron Strebe, Austin Dean, Drew Meyer, Alex Murphy, and Brandon Bartel are the team’s eight seniors. They are joined by junior Brady Osterling.
The Wolves lost Kyler Heimbruch, Austin Peterson and Kenny Dearth to graduation.
“We are trying to build off a 2-21 season,” said Morrin, who is in his first year coaching at Manawa, but has 10 years of experience and a 66-105 career record. “We have a new attitude along with senior leadership. The Wolves are ready to compete every night in the Central Wisconsin-8 Conference.”
Morrin said his teams goals are to place fourth in the conference while playing hard every night. Players to watch include Krauss and Thompson.
