Michael G. Niemuth, age 51, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 3, 2013, at ManorCare in Appleton.
He was born September 3, 1961, to Wilbur and the late Lydia (Luedtke) Niemuth. He was an avid outdoorsmen, loved hunting, fishing, and cutting firewood. He lived for and loved deer hunting. He grew up, and worked on the family farm, he worked for Mills Fleet Farm, Waupaca, and also for Wal-Mart, Appleton, until his health failed.
He is survived by his father, Wilbur Niemuth, Dale; his son Steven Niemuth, Dale; a sister, Karen (William) Kuehl, New London; brothers, Gilbert (Cheryl) Niemuth, Hortonville; Marlin Niemuth, Fremont; nephew, Jason Kuehl, Appleton, and a niece Alicia Niemuth, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by a son, Glen Niemuth; his mother, Lydia Niemuth, and an infant niece.
The funeral service will be at Zion Lutheran Church, Readfield, Wisconsin at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 9, 2013, with Rev. Peter Kesting officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 AM till time of service. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Readfield, WI, in the spring. The family would like thank all the doctors and the staff at New London Family Medical Center, New London, ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah, and Appleton Medical Center, Appleton for all the care Michael received. The family would also like to thank all the staff and nurses at ManorCare for all the wonderful care that they gave Michael and the kindness they showed to his family.
