Margaret Helen Murdock (Nee Brunner), age 92. Beloved wife of the late William E. Murdock. Passed away peacefully on January 30, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Bloomingdale, IL surrounded by her loving family members.
Born October 3, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio, married in 1944, she spent her early life in Cleveland, Ohio. She retired to her home in Waupaca, Wisconsin in 1982, and for the last several years she has resided in Bloomingdale, Illinois. She loved Stratton Lake; she was a devoted flower gardener and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her dearly loved children: devoted daughters Marilyn (Thomas) Gollan, Margaret (Arthur) Wolf, Nancy (Craig) Stubbs, Suzanne Parent, Karen (Don) Mon, Beth (Walter) Williams and Kathleen Rush and son Michael Murdock. She had sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister Jean Scofield and brothers Joseph Brunner and Larry Brunner who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul H. and Jeanette Brunner, husband William and brothers Thomas and Jack.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Waupaca, WI. on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Family Shelter service 605 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL. Arrangements by Geils Funeral Home 630-766-3232.
