Save the Date! Solar Speakeasy Held to Honor MREA Supporters

CUSTER, WI – February 11, 2013 – The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) is having a Solar Speakeasy to recognize all the efforts of their volunteers and supporters. The event will be March 9th at The Bernard’s Country Inn Ballroom. All are invited and the entry fee is a suggested donation. MREA is excited to see all their volunteers and donors together as well as to see new faces.

The support from volunteers and donors is appreciated to no end, but MREA really wanted to honor those devoted individuals with a specific event. The Solar Speakeasy doors will open at 8:00 p.m. and close at midnight. Expect to hear music from DJ N-DOE and band, Boom 42. During the event, try your luck with the Fedora toss, card games, and more! Don’t forget to dress up in your best 20’s attire-you’ll want your picture taken at the 20’s photo booth.

MREA will also have a table at the event for those interested in signing up to volunteer for The Energy Fair early. Volunteers at The Energy Fair enjoy benefits such as free admission to The Energy Fair and a hardcore t-shirt for volunteering for 12 hours. For more information about volunteering and MREA events go to midwestrenew.org.
