Weyauwega-Fremont’s boys’ eighth-grade basketball team recently wrapped up its season with an 8-4 record.
The team finished its season on a positive note with a 51-34 win over Manawa.
The Hawks jumped out to a 17-4 first-quarter lead and cruised to the win behind 25 points from Logan Bosquez, who finished with seven three-pointers.
“All players played and improved in each game and they were a blast to coach,” coach Tom Chase said. “Hard work and determination will make them better as they move through the system.”
