The Waupaca Squirts B Hockey Team Took 3rd Place In The Super Squirts Home Hockey Tournament On February 15th-17th At The Expo Center!
The Squirts Beat The Beloit Blades 2-1 In Game #1. Both Goals Were Scored by Max Gusmer With 1 Assist by Vin Nikolai. Bryton Sipp Was Goalie And Had 9 Saves.
In Game #2 The Squirts Were Shut Out 0-9 By The Sheboygan Lakers. Hagen Rasmussen Had 17 Saves As Goalie.
The Squirts Then Came Back And Won The 3rd Place Trophy After Beating The Marshfield Blades 5-1 In Game #3! Max Gusmer, Sawyer Mielke, And Evan Saunders Each Scored 1 Goal and Sam LaMotte Scored 2 Goals! Jayce Koshollek And Sawyer Mielke Each Had 2 Assists And Max Gusmer Had 1 Assist. Bryton Sipp Was In The Goal And Had 14 Saves, Just Missing The Shutout Giving Up A Goal With One Minute 39 Seconds Left.
The Squirts B Team Will Next Be Traveling To Waupun For The State Tournament On March 9th & 10th!
