Faith to host breakfast for men

Faith Community Church in Waupaca will host a men’s breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at King’s Table Restaurant.

The church’s three pastors – Lead Pastor Eric Tober, Associate Pastor Gary Strike and Pastor of Students Phil Wells – will present “The Seasons of a Man’s Life.”

The breakfast is for men of all ages and is the first of several the church plans to host as a way to serve men and promote growth, maturity and transformation.

The cost is $7, which will include coffee, juice, pancakes, eggs, sausage and tip.

Sign up on the church’s website – www.faithwaupaca.org – or by calling 715-258-8857. The registration deadline is Friday, March 1.

The program is the result of discussions that took place after members of the church attended the annual “No Regrets” Conference.

It was held Feb. 1 and 2, at Highland Church in Wausau.

Approximately 30 men from Faith, including the church’s three pastors, attended the conference.

Tober led one of the breakout sessions, with 75 men in attendance.

After the session, the pastor spent a couple hours in counsel with men.

Many of the younger Christian men demonstrated excitement.

Throughout the weekend and during the trip back to Waupaca, they experienced new decisions and commitments toward a desire to grow closer to the Lord.

Faith Community Church is part of the Evangelical Free Churches of America and the Forest Lakes District of the EFCA.

The church is located at N2541 County Road K.
