Peter J. Klotzbuecher, 29, Manawa, was charged with felony theft.
In late December 2012, a woman living in the town of Little Wolf reported eight pieces of jewelry, with an estimated total value of $3,275, were stolen.
She believed the theft may have occurred about a month earlier when she noticed change missing from her change jar.
In April, Manawa police obtained a list of items Klotzbuecher sold to a pawn shop over a 10-day period in November.
When questioned by police, Klotzbuecher said he needed the money to pay for traffic tickets, the complaint says.
