Weyauwega-Fremont High School’s Athletic Department awards the Most Outstanding Freshman Award each year to the ninth-grader that excelled in athletics as a freshman during their first year of high school.
Each head coach of the 10 sports offered had the opportunity to nominate three freshmen for this award. Coaches ranked them in order from first to third and athletes were given three points for first, two for second and one for third.
