Fatal crash on U.S. 10

One person was killed and two were injured in a two-vehicle crash shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, June 14, on U.S. Highway 10 in Waupaca.

Sara Dulmes, 28, West Bend was driving a Chevrolet Blazer westbound on U.S. 10 near the County a intersection. She had an 8-year-old passenger in the vehicle.

A Jeep Liberty, driven by Miguel Victor Cruz, 54, Ripon, rear-ended Dulmes’ vehicle.

The Blazer overturned and Dulmes was ejected and severely injured. She was flown by helicopter to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah where she later died from her injuries.

The child was taken by ambulance to Riverside Medical Center where she was treated and released

The Jeep also overturned in the median. Cruz was taken to RMC for treatment of his injuries and released.

The Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate this crash.
