Waupaca’s Own concert benefits music program

The ninth annual Wauaca’s Own Summer Benefit Concert will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Waupaca High School.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with pre-concert performance by the Sands family in the Commons.

Ten singers will perform, all of whom hail from WHS. Taking the stage will be Heather Elkenbary, Kelly Hackett, John Hammond, Brayden Kendziora, Kenneth Lauer, Kira Morrissey, Eric Neuville, Lindsay Neuville, Brian Olsen and Sawyer Olson.

There will be songs from over 14 shows and venues.

The WHS Dance Team will furnish refreshments in the lobby at intermission.

Admission is a free will offering.

If checks are used, they should be made out to the Waupaca Area Community Foundation for tax free purposes.

Proceeds go to the WHS Music Department, with $4,000. earmarked for additional microphones and enhanced stage lighting.

Additional proceeds go to the Waupaca Breakfast Rotary Club, to be used for their many charitable causes.

Individuals, families and businesses may also help by sponsoring the concert.

Those who donate $1,000, or Platinum Level, will receive eight tickets for reserved seating at the concert, four DVDs and four tickets to a post event gala.

At the $500 Gold Level, sponsors receive six reserved seats, two DVDs and two gala tickets.

At the $250 Silver Level, sponsors receive four reserved seats and one DVD.

Sponsors at the $100 Patron Level will receive a notation in the program.
