An 81-year-old rural Waupaca man was killed while crossing County Road Q in the town of Farmington Tuesday, July 2.
Fred P. Lick was struck by a car driven by Kristin K. Carlson, 41, Waupaca, at approximately 4 p.m. She was traveling eastbound on County Q about one-quarter mile west of County QQ.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca where she was treated for minor injuries and released, according to Deputy Kevin Studzinski.
The accident remains under investigation by the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol
