Iola-Scandinavia’s 12U baseball team took first place honors July 21 at the Clintonville youth baseball tournament July 21.
The team defeated Seymour 10-0, Wisconsin Rapids 5-3, Depere 9-7 and Waupaca 8-1.
The team also placed first in the 12U Division June 23 at the Coach Koronkiewicz Comet Invitational in Waupaca by defeating Shiocton 14-0, Rudoph 14-4, Amherst 11-3, Pewaukee 11-8 and Appleton Einstein 9-6.
The team will wrap up its tournament season Sunday, July 28, in Rice Lake.
