Weyauwega-Fremont’s volleyball team picked up recent Central Wisconsin 8 Conference wins over Iola-Scandinavia and Stevens Point Pacelli.
The Indians took three of four games from the Thunderbirds Sept. 19 and earned a sweep over the Cardinals Sept. 17.

IOLA – The T-Birds opened the match with a 25-18 win, but the Indians came back to take the next three, 26-24, 25-10 and 25-17.
Leaders for the Indians included Jordan Krause with 39 assists and two solo blocks; Kelsey Gilbert and Megan Young with five aces each; Morgan Wilson with 13 points and 14 kills; and Young with 24 digs and 12 kills.
W-F 3, Pacelli 0
WEYAUWEGA – W-F defeated Pacelli 25-17, 27-25 and 25-20.
Young and Gilbert had nine and seven kills, respectively; Alyssa Goode served up a pair of aces and 10 service points; Krause had 21 assists; Wilson had a team-high 10 dogs and four solo blocks; and Courtney Gorges chipped in with nine digs.
The Indians hosted Shiocton Sept. 24 and will head to Medford Saturday, Sept. 28, for an invitational that starts at 9:30 a.m. W-F will also head to Amherst for a CWC-8 match at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.
