Ardell A. “Hans” Margraf, age 74 of Iola, WI passed into Eternity on October 1, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL.
Hans was born on October 11, 1938 in Slinger, WI to Rachel and Charles Margraf. He married Maxine Margraf on April 24, 1982 in Iola, WE. She preceded him in death. Hans was employed as Head of Maintenance for the Richfield Elementary School for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching all sports.
Hans was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one brother, Lester. He is survived by three daughters: Janice (Don) Bolling of Hartford, WI m Joy (Billy) Fornwalt of West Salem, IL and Jill (John Kall) Margraf of West Bend, WI, nine grandchildren: Erica, Jessica, Monica, Brandon, Rachel, E.J., Shawn, Keith and Robert, nine great-grandchildren: Colten, Bennington, Mabel, Hunter, Alana, Tori, Kiera, Stihl, Tripp and one on the way. Hans is also survived by one sister, Ludell (Dave) Weiss of Adell, WI, one brother, Raymond Margraf, Sr. of Neosho, WI and close friends, Vance and Bonnie Olsen of Iola, WI.
Per Hans’ wishes, the body has been cremated and there will be no memorial services. Ingram Funeral Home, Albion, IL assisted the family with the arrangements.
