Jurack, William N.

William “Bill” Jurack, age 88, Town of Liberty (Outagamie County), passed away due to complication of Parkinson’s disease on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Brewster Village in Appleton.

Bill was born on December 7, 1924, in Milwaukee son of the late Paul and Louise (Barkow) Jurack. He attended grade school and high school in the Milwaukee area. In 1942, Bill enlisted in the US Army serving until 1946 as Private 1st Class in the 919th Air Engineering Squadron. On September 7, 1946, Bill was united in marriage to Ruth Lemke. He farmed until 1957. In 1957 he went to work for Gilbert Paper Company retiring after 35 years in 1989. He served many years on the Liberty Town Board as supervisor and was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Bill enjoyed 67 years of marriage, hunting, fishing, bowling and many trips to the casino.

He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters, Susan (Mike) Mulroy and Sandra (Mike) Levezow; grandchildren: Will (Emily) Mulroy, Nicky (Tim) Loch, Tim (Julie) Mulroy, Matt (Rachel) Mulroy, Scott (Patti) Buckarma and Heather (Mike) Lillge; great-grandchildren: Autumn and Connor Mulroy; Jack, Sam and Charlie Loch; Carter and Alex Mulroy; Brady and (baby due in May) Mulroy; Kayla, Kaitlyn and Kirstyn Buckarma; Cordell Taylor and Johanna Buckarma. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services for Bill will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in the Town of Ellington Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. We want to express our sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Brewster Village, your wonderful care, compassion and companionship given to our Dad these past two years was awesome! God Bless you!
